About the 2024 Utah Valley Parade of Homes
Each year, the Utah Valley Home Builders Association (HVBA) organizes one of the country’s top “Parade of Homes” events, and this year is no exception. The parade is scheduled to run from June 6 to June 22, 2024. Homes will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, between 12:00pm and 9:00pm, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
No. 1 Get Discounted Tickets At Central Bank
Since you’re here reading these tips, we want to help you save $3 right away! As the main sponsor of the 2024 Parade of Homes, Central Bank is offering tickets for $22 instead of $25. While you’re saving money on your tickets, don’t forget to GRAB A MAGAZINE! The Parade does an excellent job of distributing magazines at the parade homes, but they go quickly! We’ve witnessed situations where people struggle to get their hands on one, so be sure to pick one up while they’re available!
No. 3 Beat The Crowds, Start Down South
Because most visitors tend to start from further North and work their way down south, you can outsmart the crowds and enjoy a smoother experience by doing just the opposite! South county is a must see, especially with so many luxury homes this year!
No. 4 Understanding Re-Entries is Key!
According to the Utah Valley Parade of Homes website, ‘Your parade ticket allows one entry into each of the parade homes, with an additional 2 re-entries into a home or 2 of your choice.’ To be clear, this means that you can enter a home a maximum of THREE TIMES. Remember this as you plan your visit.
No. 5 Take Advantage of The Virtual Parade
In case you exhaust your re-entries, the ‘Virtual Parade’ will be accessible on the Parade of Homes website from June 6 to July 20, 2024. You can access the virtual parade using the same ticket you used for the physical parade. Unlike the physical event, you can view the virtual homes as many times as you wish!
No. 6 Hold on to Your Booties!
Booties (Not Boo-tays) to be clear, we’re referring to ‘shoe coverings.’ We’ve learned that some homes provide them and others do not! But they’re really nice to have so you can avoid carrying your shoes around all day. If you come across a pair during your Parade home journey, keep them handy for the next home!
No. 7 Younger Than 3? Get In FREE!
You might already be aware, but here’s a reminder: if you have a little one younger than three, feel free to bring them along without purchasing a ticket! They don’t need one.
