Summit Creek residents have lots to look forward to in the new year. While our community already offers an abundance of amenities—from the year-round Summit Creek Springs pool complex to miles of backcountry trails and welcoming Loafer Clubhouse—now, our Woodland Hills enclave is announcing plans for a new set of family-friendly amenities. Construction is currently underway with Phase 1 set for completion in Fall 2021.
At the center of these new amenities is the transformation of two existing structures, the Loafer Clubhouse and the award-winning Inspiration House. These iconic Summit Creek spaces are being reimagined into two state-of-the-art clubhouses, each with beautifully crafted interiors, exteriors and thoughtful programming designed to make life at Summit Creek effortless, invigorating and totally unmatched in the region.
Inspiration House, which is located across from the existing Loafer Clubhouse and just steps from Summit Creek Springs pool complex, is sited on an idyllic north-facing bench of the Wasatch Range with spectacular mountain, valley and lake views. Widely known for being an award-winning home featuring 7,759 square feet across three levels with a wraparound terrace and its own open-air pool, the estate is now being expanded and transformed into a community clubhouse designed for relaxation, health and wellness, inside and out. Providing more adult-themed programming, this new clubhouse will feature a main level with a library and kitchen, and an all-ages sports bar and lounge with a cutting-edge golf simulator. Its bright lower level will house a fully-equipped fitness studio complete with cardio and weight training equipment, including row machines and ellipticals for those who wish to break a sweat indoors.
The second clubhouse will evolve and enhance our existing Loafer Clubhouse, which will soon offer activities and environments designed for families and residents of all ages. Inside, bright, updated interiors will boast large windows that frame stunning views of Mount Loafer, making the expansive Wasatch Range the picture-perfect backdrop to every indoor activity. This clubhouse will also feature a chef-inspired kitchen on the main level, a large open-air terrace with incredible mountain and meadow vistas, plus a kid- and teen-friendly lower level game room with foosball, ping pong tables and more. Residents will be able to reserve the entire clubhouse for private events, such as birthday parties, weddings and other special occasions.
Additional developments include two outdoor pickleball courts and two tennis courts, which can be reserved by residents through the Frontsteps Community app. Nearby will be a bocce ball court, a children’s playground, a decorative fountain by Salt Lake City’s Langvardt Design Group and a dedicated outdoor barbecue area with a pergola and ample seating. The Summit Springs pool complex will also get a new shaded, cabana-inspired pavilion with several lounges, perfect for relaxing poolside.
